Welcome

This web site is for gardeners in New Mexico and other parts of the southwest to use as a resource to find help for their gardening problems and to learn more about plants. The column on the left holds the various subgroups of topics. Click on the sub headings to go to the pages or click on the Site map for a listing of all the pages including pictures.

This website contains most of the material that has been  used for the Master Gardener training.
I endeavor to have the very best information written in the most lucid manner therefore improved material is continually being added.  References that can be used for learning may require an Internet access, a laptop computer and a digital projector. Most Extension Offices will have these available if requested. I have added a number of PowerPoint presentations  which you may use with your classes or clubs or even just for your own learning efforts. I put mine on a flash drive to be able to carry them with me in case I need them or want to share them with others. As long as they are used only for educational purposes and you do not charge for such a presentation they are free.

If you find mistakes that have slipped in I apologize and ask you to please let me know where they are and what they should be changed to.

If you have any questions that we can help you with, send an email letting us know where you are from and some of the growing conditions that are  causing problems.  Your input of any kind is welcome. Click to contact webmaster

Go to nmmastergardeners.org/ to find these and other articles in a pdf. format that you may use to print out a book with much of this material from that web site. Those articles, however, may not have been modified since they were originally printed in 2001.
