Plants for Southwest Gardens Besides the plants that grow naturally there is an abundant supply of introduced plants that you may wish to try in your garden. These include all of the food producing plant that can be found in the vegetable garden or the fruit orchard as well as those decoratives that gardeners love, such as roses, iris, daylilies, flowering trees and much more. Many of the naturally growing plants will adapt to our gardens and many of them have still not gained acceptance nor have selections or hybrids of these species been tested This section will be concerned with listings of such plants and how to grow them.
